Now Windows Hello is completely turned off, and it won't even prompt me to set up a pin to use it. It then says it needs to verify my identity by having me enter my pin, which will, in turn, turn on Windows Hello. When I set it up, it scans my face, then tells me to set up a pin to use it. UPDATE: I tried to remove the Windows Hello from my laptop, and set up a new one. What can I do? I really like using Windows Hello, but can't because Windows won't let me set up a pin. I tried updating Windows but that has been unsuccessful. When it is using Windows Hello during this process, I can hit "other options" and enter my old pin, which works, but then nothing happens and there is still no pin set up.

It doesn't prompt me for my pin or anything. When I click add pin, it prompts me for my Microsoft Account's password, followed by Windows Hello recognizing my face, then nothing. Fair enough, however it won't let me set up a pin. It tells me I need to set up a pin first. Since getting it back, however, Dell apparently had to reinstall Windows, and now Windows Hello is not working. Before sending it in, Windows Hello worked perfectly fine. I had to send in my Alienware laptop for repairs when something went wrong with the screen.
